
Kolina has been in the ski industry since 2006. Originally a snowboarder from Mt. High in Southern California, she moved to Tahoe to attend Sierra Nevada College. While pursuing her degree in Biology, she patrolled full-time and later went on to earn a master’s in Epidemiology from UNR. Over her career, Kolina has held several key roles, including Assistant Patrol Director, Bike Park Manager, and Sr. Manager of Snow Surfaces, and she is currently the Mountain Operations Director at Keystone Resort. She has made significant contributions to avalanche dog rescue throughout her journey. Since 2015, Kolina has been an advocate for women in outdoor sports, serving as the Pro Women’s Liaison for National Ski Patrol, Co-chair for POWDER (Providing Opportunity for Women through Diversity, Equity, Respect), and now proudly holding the position of Vice President for Women of Patrol. Her passion lies in empowering women and promoting their growth within the outdoor industry.
